You are encouraged to accompany me on the inspection!
To schedule a home inspection all you need do is call or e-mail me. I fully realize that the home buying (or selling) experience can be very time consuming and stressful, therefore I will make every effort to accommodate your needs. If a Saturday or Sunday is more convenient for you it will work for me. Something to consider is that arrangements must be made to have someone let us in the home.
You are welcome to call just out of curiosity, there will be no sales pitch or follow up "courtesy" calls.
Of course, you are going to want to know how much it will cost before you schedule a home inspection. It would be helpful to have the square footage and a brief description of the property. If the property is being sold through a realtor, the property address or Multiple Listing Service Number is best. I will give you a firm quote over the phone or return email.
To maximize visibility the inspection should be done during the daylight hours. I would prefer to start in the morning so we have plenty of time to cover any areas of concern and fully answer any questions.
Whether or not you will be able to be there you will receive a comprehensive written inspection report. The report is not a simple check list or a standardized computer form. It is customized to describe every aspect and detail of the inspection. After you review it you can always contact me with any questions or concerns.
